How to add a site to Custom Rules

Auto Mode

If you try to access a site but it fails to connect under Auto Mode, it's very likely that this site is not added into GFW List, which means if you want to access this site, either you change to Global Mode, or you need to manually add this site into Custom Rules.

Rules:

• somesite.com matches somesite.com and all *.somesite.com subdomains
• *.somesite.com matches all subdomain sites
• www.somesite.* mataches all sites begin with www.somesite
• ip address 8.8.8.8 matches only 8.8.8.8

If any site matches those rules you added, then that site will be accessed via ShadowsocksX server.

Blacklist Mode

If you enable Blacklist Mode, normally all sites are accessed via ShadowsocksX server, it looks like you are using ShadowsocksX server to access those sites, but sometimes you might want to make some exceptions, e.g. you want to access some sites directly, then you need to add those sites into Custom Rules. Those rules are the same as rules of Auto Mode, but the result is the opposite one, If any site matches those rules you added, then that site will be accessed directly.
